Seas and oceans make up 71% of our planet's surface and are a key ally in combating climate change. A healthy sea is a healthy planet, so by taking care of the Earth and its oceans we also take care of people. That is why ISDIN is committed to rejuvenating the Mediterranean.
The sea which saw our birth
The Mediterranean is our birthplace and since 1975 it has inspired us with its beauty, richness of species and its privileged ecosystem, unique in the world. That is why we want to rejuvenate it and ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy its warm and welcoming waters.
Not being part of the problem and being part of the solution
At ISDIN, we thoroughly analyse all our formulae to ensure that they meet sustainability standards and minimise their marine impact.
In addition, through ISDIN's Fusion Water, we have made a commitment to our sea: every unit sold of this sunscreen during 2023 will contribute to removing the equivalent weight of its packaging in plastic from the Mediterranean. Thanks to the collaboration with Gravity Wave dreamers, we aim to remove more than 60 tonnes of plastic.

The Mediterranean Sea faces major challenges for which it needs our help. Together, through unity and collaboration, we will contribute to generate positive impact.
The Bluewave Alliance is a non-profit initiative which aims to restore the health and beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. It promotes conservation and restoration projects in the Mediterranean that can also be applied to the rest of the seas and oceans of our planet, in order to raise public awareness of the importance of caring for the seas and oceans.
A movement that multiplies
The Bluewave Alliance brings together entrepreneur-dreamers with innovative projects; purpose-driven companies willing to leverage their resources; and the scientific community to provide the necessary knowledge to ensure their impact. This is the essence of all our projects, working together to multiply.
WHAT ISDIN BRINGS TO THE BLUEWAVE ALLIANCE
ISDIN is one of the main drivers of the Bluewave Alliance to maximise, together with other partners, its positive impact on the planet.
At ISDIN we have promoted the creation of the Bluewave Alliance and we support its activity by financing and publicising its projects.
In addition, we work to create synergies with other companies, thereby pooling resources and multiplying the impact of all Bluewave Alliance initiatives on our seas and oceans.
