On October 4th and 5th, BluewaveAlliance participated as organizers in the III International Plogging Congressin Lloret de Mar, an event combining physical activity and waste collection toprotect natural spaces. It was a great opportunity to promote the connectionbetween sports and sustainability alongside Guitart Hotels, Fundació ClimentGuitart, Cooperativa La Mar de Dones, and Club Esportiu Mossos d'Esquadra.

We presented the SeaSpore project and thedocumentary Waves of Tomorrow, which aim to raise awareness about thechallenges and threats facing our Mediterranean. The Plogging Visions roundtable featured experts such asDavid Serrano, ESG Director of Barcelona Serveis Municipals, Andrea Comaposada,Eduard Jornet, and Mario Vizcarro, who discussed the synergy between sports andsustainability. We also heard from Christian Pétron, Director of Photographyfor Le Grand Bleu, and awarded the Plogger of the Year, a recognition presentedby Sandro Picasso.
