The Bluewave Alliance attended the opening of the V Ibiza Marine Forum. We attended invited by our "dreamers" from the Vellmarí Association and accompanied by our friends Carlota Bruna, recognized environmental influencer; Gádor Muntaner, oceanographer, explorer of National Geographic; Pol Vives, Pol Ramos and Maria Barbena from Odicean Expeditions.

We immersed ourselves in the most exciting conversations about marine conservation. Opening was marine biologist and National Geographic explorer Dr. Sylvia Earle, known as the "Lady of the Deep," whose words reminded us of the urgency of reversing the degradation of our planet. With more than 7,000 hours under the sea, Earle, at 88 years of age, remains a tireless advocate for ocean life. Maximiliano Bello, an expert in international ocean policy, shared his knowledge and experience of more than two decades in promoting priority marine protected areas.

We would like to thank the Vellmarí Association, the Marilles Foundation and Ibiza Formentera Preservation for the invitation. We congratulate the organization for an exceptionally enriching event. Sylvia Earle leaves us an important message: "Without water, there is no life. No blue, no green". Let's work together for vibrant seas and oceans full of life.
