The Bluewave Alliance participated in the Lloret Plogging Congress 2023, a major event organized by the Fundació Climent Guitart and Guitart Hotels, the Mar de Dones and the Club Esportiu Mossos d'Esquadra, which brought together elite athletes such as Ona Carbonell, conservation enthusiasts, scientists and environmental advocates. This annual congress, held in the picturesque coastal town of Lloret de Mar, addressed coastal environmental challenges and promoted sustainable practices.

The Bluewave Alliance played an important role in this event with Juan Naya, CEO of ISDIN, the company behind the Bluewave Alliance, giving a presentation entitled "Rejuvenating the Mediterranean Sea. Being part of the solution", which highlighted the importance of protecting the sea and the fight against pollution. The presentation focused on the problem of plastic pollution and actively promoted plogging, an activity that combines physical exercise with waste collection on beaches and coasts.

Juan Naya expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the event: "The Lloret Plogging Congress is a fundamental platform to raise awareness about the importance of our coasts and seas. We are committed to inspiring local communities to take concrete action to combat coastal pollution and protect our precious marine environments."

The Lloret Plogging Congress 2023 was confirmed as a key event to promote awareness and action in coastal and marine conservation. The active participation of the Bluewave Alliance underlined the importance of collaboration and society's commitment to the protection of our marine ecosystems, strengthening the determination to work together towards a cleaner and more sustainable future for our beaches and oceans.
