Sea Watchers: OdM Climate 2025
This project aims to establish a citizen observation network to monitor the effects of climate change along the Spanish Mediterranean coast. It will engage recreational divers in collecting scientific data and raising public awareness. Led by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the initiative is set to launch in Spain in 2025.

The project seeks to create a citizen observation network to monitor the effects of climate change on the Spanish Mediterranean coast and encourage active participation in ocean conservation. It will involve recreational divers through diving centres and clubs, enabling them to gather valuable scientific data, enhance public awareness and foster dialogue about climate change. Diving centres will include OdM Climate outings in their offerings, supported by online training and practical sessions. This initiative, led by the CSIC, will be rolled out in Spain in 2025.
